There are two steps to the bloodwork process. Both are done with iMedical, our private pathology partner. All tests must be completed through iMedical only, as your results are automatically uploaded directly to your UThrive Labs file. We do not accept results from any other pathology provider as a safeguard against patient fraud and to ensure clinical accuracy.

iMedical is a private pathology service. A fee is payable and there is no Medicare rebate.

Step 1, Initial Screen
A cost-effective initial blood test that measures your free testosterone and key hormone markers. This screen will clearly indicate whether your levels are below the clinical threshold. If your free testosterone comes back at 350 or below, you proceed to Step 2.

Step 2, Comprehensive Panel (if required)
Only completed if your Step 1 result shows a free testosterone of 350 or below. This is a comprehensive blood panel completed on a separate day. Important requirements:
• Must be done between 9am and 10am
• Fasting required, water only after 9pm the night before
• Completed on a separate day to Step 1
